Please Note:

Mask, fins and snorkel are included in the gear hire but it is strongly recommended that you have your own snorkelling gear.  If you decide to make this purchase, it is recommended that you speak with your professional Dive Instructor before doing so

• Photographs for your Openwater certification card
• Dive medical in accordance with Australian Standard, A.S 4005-1 (1992).
• Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving. For example: heart disease asthma, epilepsy or diabetes. If you are unsure of a particular medical condition, please check with us prior to reservation. Australian medical standards are different to those overseas. A medical obtained in another country will most likely NOT be valid in Australia.
• The minimum age to start this course is 12 yrs. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult over the age of 18. Children between 12 - 14 years of age will qualify as Junior Open Water Divers.  They will be trained to dive to a depth of 12 metres and as a certified divers, their dive buddy must be a minimum certification level of Divemaster or their parent/guardian.

Part Time Course Timetable

• Dive medical in accordance with Australian Standard, A.S 4005-1 (1992).
• Swim 200 metres and tread water for 10 minutes.
