The Discover Scuba Diving program allows you to explore the underwater world under the direct supervision of a PADI scuba diving instructor. This programme can be used as Step 1 in the all new PRO DIVE / PADI "Step One - Two - Three Scuba Program", which can lead to full PADI Openwater Certification. Ask your instructor for further details.

From PRO DIVE Manly you will be taken to Shelly Beach (Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve) where we will introduce you to the scuba diving equipment you will be using, some safety skills and then take you on an exciting diving tour around the reserve.

Whilst on the tour we will introduce you to our resident Blue Grouper 'George', Gloomy Octopus, Giant Cuttlefish, all manner of colourful fish life and rays, and if we are really lucky a Weedy Sea Dragon too!

The minimum age for this experience is 12 and you will need to fill out a medical statement.

Full Gear Hire Professional PADI instructor. Transport from PRO DIVE Manly to Shelly Beach and back again A PADI certification of Recognition for Discover Scuba Diving on completion	This programme does not allow you to dive independently on completion. However the programme may give you credit towards your PADI Openwater Diver Course training (ask in store for details).
Itinerary
7.20am Meet outside the entrance to The Hilton Hotel in Pitt Street, Sydney 7.30am Bus departs for PRO DIVE Manly 7.30am SHARP 8.00am Arrive PRO DIVE Manly and complete paperwork, orientation and equipment preparation 9.00am Short Briefing, gear up and enter the fabulous underwater world of Shelly Beach 11.00am Exit water and debrief 11.30am Back to PRO DIVE Manly for tea or coffee If the optional second dive is chosen then the finish time will be proportionally later.
