  Sydney Dive Sites

Long Reef 25m

There are many good dives along the wall running north to south and 'The Apartments' might just be the fishiest dive in Sydney, most of our Divemasters rate this as one of the best sites for marine life. You'll find soft coral, sponges and a variety of fish such as bream, leather jackets, silver sweeps, yellowtail, sea pike, sergeant bakers, tiny nudi's, cuttlefish, pomme frittes, big schools of fish, pelagics such as kingfish, blue groupers and bigs rays.

North Bondi 28m

When the viz is at its best this is a spectacular dive! North Bondi formations are the 'Slot Cove' and 'the Cathedral'. Swim throughs and exciting topography offer an amazing sensation of swimming through a 3 m long cave starting at the entrance and move though to the light at the end. The giant schools of fish are a highlight.

Magic Point 25m

Magic Point our most popular dive site. Located off the South Maroubra Beach its the location of Sydneys Grey Nurse Shark population. Fearsome looking yet placid creatures the shark dive is exhilarating! One of the easiest site to navigate and great depth range.

Wedding Cake 25m

A great dive site located off Coogee beach this rock island becomes a safe haven for fish life. Cuttlefish, lionfish, wobbygongs, kelp gardens, sponges with plenty of nooks and crannies to explore.

Blue Fish Wall 25m

Blue wrasse, lionfish and weedy sea dragons, schools of yellow tail scat fish can be found among the boulders, drop-offs and kelp gardens - great macro dive.

Old Mans Hat 28m

Numerous sheltered sites extending from Quarantine Heads east along the base of the North Head past 'Old Mans Hat' - weedy sea dragons and east swim though. Pleasant dive great lay out of dive site. sponge gardens macro life red rockets scorpion fish.

The Stack 33m

This site gets its name from the old sewerage vent located on the cliff top. There is plenty to explore around a stepping reefscape where you can see lots of cuttlefish.

The Gap 23m

The reef has a lots of small and large boulders as well as a sheer wall. The boulders create a lot of swim-thoughts and small caves. Some of the large boulders, covered in sponges and gorgonian fans.

Rosa Gully 23m

So named because of the adjacent landmark, a deep ravine in the sandstone cliff, Rosa Gully is one of those pleasant dives where you can relax and explore the crevices - expect to see lots of pelagics.

Dee Why Wide 30m

Adventurous dive with an extensive reef system off the northern beaches which drops pelagic 30m, thus considered an advanced dive. Large gullies run down this dive site with small overhangs covered in heaps of sea tulips.

Mnaly Bombie. 16m

This is a classic and very pretty dive comprising of wide canyons that are home to the famous weedy sea dragons. A great notice dive located opposite the Manly Beach

Valiant 27m

Easiest entry level wreck dive as it is not too deep and the 23m long wreck is intact and well preserved however you are not able to penetrate the wreck.

The Valiant was ordered out of Pittwater where her owners damage her hull while stripping her. She was towed about 1.2km off shore before she slipped her tow rope and sunk stern first in a matter of 30 seconds. Now an artificial reef the site attracts a huge amount of fish such as mackerels and catfish.

Annie Miller & Coolooli 48m

Both these wrecks are beyond recreational live limits and you will need to be an experienced diver to participate. The Annie Miller a coal cargo ship sank in 1929 in tragic circumstances near Bondi and the Coolooli was a dredger that was scuttled to make an artificial reef near Narabeen - both of which are excellent wreck diving site
