About This Trip
Dive the crossroads of the South Pacific - Lord Howe is New South Wales’s own Pacific Paradise. World Heritage Listed in the early 1980’s, this tiny island has a huge sandy, palm tree lined lagoon enclosed by the world’s southern most coral reefs. The island boasts a spectacular topography with a rainforest clad mountain and is home to numerous endemic species, especially birds.

Dive Sites
There are two amazing dive sites, Comets Hole and Erscotts Hole. The sparkling lagoon has a max depth of 8m giving you a long bottom time, great vis and light - meaning that this site is a photographer’s dream.
Surrounding Reef Dive Sites 10 - 30 metres
There are six great dive sites offering a great variety of different diving experiences. Each is teeming with fish life, corals and exciting seascapes. Some must-see creatures here are the photogenic silver sweetlips, Galapagos reef sharks, harlequin tuskfish, rare species of nudibranchs, racoon butterflyfish, dotted morwong, the southern white spot octopus, bookfish and splendid hawkefish.
Admiralty Islets 15 - 40 metres
There are over 30 dive sites surrounding the island which are a group of volcanic formations offering large pinnacles, walls of coral reef attracting larger schools of fish.
Ball’s Pyramid 20 - 25 metres
This is a heavily protected site of extreme natural importance, PRO DIVE has the only licensed dive boat and take a limited number of divers to this special site. Once in the water you can expect to see massive schools of violet sweep, amber jack, kingfish, silver drumer, ballina angelfish, rainbow runners, trevally, marlin,dolphins and wahoo.
